He was built to play. He was born to create.

Built Different.
Dressed Different.
The athlete who chose the sketchbook — and why he came back for all of them.
There is a kind of person who walks into a room and immediately understands it. Not the energy of the room — the look of it. Who fits. What's missing. What would make it perfect.
Torrance Carr-Young has always been that person.
He grew up in Richardson, Texas — a natural born athlete who could have made football his whole identity. Division I wide receiver at Oklahoma State. The kind of player coaches build schemes around. But even on the field, under the lights, in front of thousands of people — Torrance was thinking about the uniform. The sleeves. The socks. The silhouette. His coach once said he was more focused on how he looked than actually playing. He wasn't wrong. And he wasn't saying it as a criticism.
He was saying it because it was obvious.
Torrance was always a designer first. He started sketching clothing lines in high school while other players were watching film. He had a brand name before he had a playbook. He had a vision for what streetwear could look like before he ever stepped on a college field.
But here is what makes NUDÉ different from every other celebrity-adjacent clothing brand — Torrance didn't leave the athlete behind when he chose fashion. He brought the athlete with him.
Because he understands something that most designers never will:
Athletes are literally built different.
Not metaphorically. Physically. A linebacker's chest doesn't fit in a medium. A point guard's arms don't disappear into a large. A track sprinter's thighs don't slide into a 32. The standard sizing chart was never written for the people who spend their lives building their bodies into instruments. It was written for someone sitting at a desk.
And mentally — athletes operate in a different gear entirely. They don't browse. They decide. They don't hesitate. They commit. They don't want to look like everyone else on the field, and they don't want to look like everyone else on the street either. They want a fit that moves the way they move. That communicates who they are before they ever open their mouth.
NUDÉ was designed for that person.
Not just the athlete in the traditional sense — but everyone who carries that energy. The person who shows up with intention. Who doesn't leave the house unless the fit is right. Who understands that how you present yourself is the first thing you say in any room. The competitor, the creator, the one who refuses to settle for what's already on the rack.
Torrance calls them Alumni.
Because this isn't a brand you buy from. It's a school you get accepted to. And the curriculum has always been the same:
Class is always in session.
Show up dressed like you know it.
"Athletes are literally built different. Standard sizing was never written for them. NUDÉ was."
